Sous Chef - Gastro Pub 1 Rosette - Kingsbridge - £26k


Job Overview

Our Client is seeking to recruit an experienced and forward thinking Sous Chef for our very busy kitchen in our successful Gastro Pub owned by neighbouring hotel, recently awarded 1 AA Rosette. Recently refurbished, it serves up to 250 covers on a busy day and the successful candidate must have a hands-on attitude and be able to cook high quality food in a high-volume setting. Locally sourced fresh food menu.


Role Responsibilities:

-          Deputising for the Head Chef in his absence and assisting him with the day to day running of the kitchen

-          Supervising other members of the team.

-          Assisting with ordering and menus.


What you need to be successful:

-          Sous Chef experience at a similar level or be a chef-de-partie, looking for a step up.

-          You must be comfortable with fast paced cooking

-          Be up-to-date with all current food hygiene and allergen legislation

-          Be professional and approachable.



-          Salary between £22k and £24k + Tips

-          Temporary live in accommodation available
