Commis Chef - Southampton outskirts - Hotel - £7.38 p/h + Tips

A Commis Chef is required for this stunning Hotel on the outskirts of Southampton. Kick start off your catering career and earn opportunities for progression. The Hotel is popular for both leisure and corporate guests and caters for weddings, conferences and other events. The successful candidate will work 5 out of 7 days to include evenings and weekends. All shifts will be straight!

Driving your own vehicle is essential due to the rural location.

An hourly rate of £7.38 per hour is on offer on a minimum of 40 hrs per week. Overtime is paid hourly.

Commis Chef Responsibilities (Southampton):

  • Learn/Practise cooking by assisting Senior Chefs

  • Assist with incoming deliveries and stock rotation

  • Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy

  • Have an ability to work well under pressure

Commis Chef Requirements (Southampton):

  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress

  • Determination to progress and positive attitude

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1 and 2 or Equivalent is beneficial but not essential
