Head Chef - Southampton - Fresh Food Pub - £28,000-£32,000

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for independently owned Gastro Pub in small village outside Southampton. This venue is situated in a lovely location and operates a traditional British Menu with fresh produce supplied locally. They have full professional team in place and are looking for a determined Chef to lead the brigade.

Due to location own transport would be necessary.

Your main responsibilities as Head Chef will include (Southampton):

  • Cost management
  • Producing dishes to meet the required standards
  • Constant development of dishes & menus
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Develop and train the other Chefs in your brigade

What you need to get the job as a Head Chef (Southampton):
  • Experience at Sous Chef/Head Chef level in a similar establishment
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent
  • Passionate about food
  • Own transport due to location
