Event Sous Chef - Outside Catering Company - Portsmouth - up to £28,000

Own Car Essential

An Event Chef is required for this well-established outside catering company. Two units, 1x located in Port Solent & 1x located in Swanwick. They cater for a wide range of events serving fresh, home cooked food.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress within a successful company. The successful candidate will work 5 out of 7 days all straight shifts! Which will include someday shifts each week!!!

Event Sous Chef Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook meals from scratch for a variety of events


  • Run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef


  • Train and develop the team


  • Stock control


  • Food safety/Health & Hygiene



Event Chef Requirements:


  • Experience as Sous Chef in a fresh food hotel, restaurant or events company


  • Ability to lead a team


  • Excellent communication skills


  • A willingness to learn and progress


  • Own Transport



The reward:


  • A salary of up to £25,000-£28,000 per annum  


  • All straight shifts! Which will include same day shifts each week!!!


  • Time off over Christmas and New year
