Chef Manager - Contract Catering - Reigate (Surrey)

  • Monday to Friday
  • 7am - 3pm hours
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • £27 - £29k

A well-known contract catering company are looking for a Chef Manager to come in and manage a team of 4 in the staff canteen area of an office environment. It's a small team but they focus on quality with around 80 covers.

This job is 37.5 hours per week, no evenings or weekends. You must have contract catering experience and have worked within the management side of catering ie writing rota's, stock takes, GP management etc


Your main responsibilities will include - Reigate

  • Meet he customers demands with high standards/high covers
  • Coordinate and help develop your team
  • Implement COSHH and Health & Safety standards
  • Working with a team of 1 Kitchen Porter and 2 Front of House staff
  • Action customer complaints

What you need to get the Head Chef role - Reigate

  • Preferably worked on contract catering sites before/high volumes
  • Great leadership skills
  • Relevant training
  • Flair and passion about cooking
  • Motivation to grow and develop
