Head Chef - Spa/Hotel - East Grinstead - £30k + Bonus + Tips

Head Chef needed for a luxury spa/hotel based on the border of Surrey/West Sussex.

This establishment has 2 restaurants, both awarded with rosette accolades. You'll be the Head Chef of the 1 AA Rosette Restaurant, catering for 60 covers, as well as helping out with banqueting and the cocktail bar menu. This is a very intimate venue that focuses on quality rather than quantity

Main duties and responsibilities of the Head Chef (East Grinstead):

- Implement Health & Safety legislation and COSHH at all times
- Cooking and preparation of high quality meals for potentially large volumes of customers
- Organising the other members of your team and delegating responsibilities
- Working with the more junior members of staff and training them
- Using fresh ingredients to make good, quality food.

What you need to be successful in the Head Chef role (East Grinstead):
  • Past experience working in Rosette establishments with experience in Banqueting.
  • Strong man management skills
  • Works well under pressure
  • Excellent communication and able to work as part of a team
  • Passionate personality that will reflect in your food and your team members
