Role Overview:

Chef needed for a role in the contract catering industry with a well known company that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for a Chef for their site in Richmond. This company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress. The successful candidate will work on a Mon - Fri - 40 hours - 1 in 3 weekends -Straight shifts 7-3pm/8-4pm/11am-7pm. You'll be based in the Sergeants Mess.




Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef (Richmond):
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food in line with required standards
  • Ensuring the food is served in the right manner
  • Ensuring the quality and portion size of the food meets the correct standards
  • Stock control
  • To comply with relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Managing team in absence of Head Chef


What You Need To Be a Successful Chef (Richmond):
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
  • Creativity and keen interest in food and cooking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate will be advantageous
