Commis Chef-Hotel-Shepperton-£8p/h-Live In

Role Overview:

A Commis Chef is required for a well known hotel in a picturesque location by the River Thames in Shepperton. You'll be catering for large groups of people in this 29 bedroom hotel, which also has conference rooms which can seat up to 70 delegates. You'll be working 5/7 days, 40 hours a week, which isn't too strenuous, and you'll be getting a brilliant hourly pay of £8.00 per hour and are offered live in accommodation if you need it. Menus are seasonal and Al Fresco dining is available in the warmer months.


Main duties and responsibilities of the Commis Chef:

-        Implement Health & Safety legislation and COSHH at all times

-          Preparation of food for large volumes of customers

-          Being organised and working as part of a team

-          Working with the head chef to prepare high quality meals

What you need to be successful in the Commis Chef role:

-        Past experience working in a hotel

-          Good communication and able to work as part of a team

-          Works well under pressure

-          NVQ's level 1, 2 or equivalent

-          Enthusiastic personality and willingness to learn & develop
