Chef - Exeter - £20,000 - Tapas Restaurant

A beautiful Tapas Restaurant has an opening for a Sous Chef in a central location of Exeter.  The restaurant is under new management and is looking for a chef with a background in tapas cooking, drive and passion to bring to the brigade.  The successful chef will work 5/7 days of up to 40 - 45 hours per week. 

 

Sous Chef Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and cook meals to the required standard


  • Run the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef


  • Stock control


  • Health & Safety/Food Hygiene


  • Train and develop the team



 

Sous Chef Requirements:


  • Experience as Sous Chef in a high-volume hotel or restaurant


  • Excellent communication skills


  • Ability to lead and motivate a team


  • A willingness to learn and progress
