The Role:


A fine restaurant, proper bar and eight luxurious fully serviced bedrooms all with a

View of the sea. Open all year round this seaside boarding house is looking for a Head Chef to join their team.  Working 5/7, a mixture of split and straight shifts.  Having a background in banqueting is an advantage as the site does caterer for events.



Your main responsibilities as Head Chef will include:

  • Assisting the Head Chef with the running of the kitchen
  • Producing dishes to meet the required standard
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Working and mentoring the junior Chefs in the Kitchen


What you need to be a successful Head Chef:

  • Experience at Sous Chef level or above
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1 to 3 or Equivalent 
  • Experience cooking with fresh produce and to a high standard
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn and progress
