Chef - £22,000 - Boutique Hotel - Exeter

This is a luxurious boutique style hotel offering an outlet to the wonderful Devon Countryside.  Attention to detail is the key to this hotel and they are currently recruiting for a 2nd chef to help run the kitchen.  The working hours are 5/7 days working a mixture of split shifts and straights.  The kitchen caters for all kinds of banqueting events e.g. Weddings Private dining for a variety of numbers and special event nights in which the head chef will help create menus for depending on the clientele.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

•             Overall responsibility of the kitchen operation when the Head Chef is not on duty

•             Producing and presenting the dishes to meet the required standard

•             To assist with managing and maintaining the stock and storage

•             To ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy at all times

•             To help with creating new recipes and assist with writing menus


What You Need To Be a Successful:

•             Experience at Sous Chef or Head Chef level or an aspiring Junior Sous

•             A creative flair with a passion for fresh produce

•             Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level

•             Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate the team
