Job Overview

Our client is a beautiful seaside restaurant as part of their hotel open to residents and non-residents and they are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Restaurant Manager, to manage a team in this luxurious hotel in one of the 4 restaurants that the hotel has. 

 

You will be working a 45 hour+ working week, 5 days out of 7 with a highly motivated team to deliver top quality service.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:


  • Managing the front of house team to ensure the continued smooth running of the Restaurant


  • Working with the F&B operations manager and head chef to improve all aspects of the food service.


  • Ongoing training, development and performance management of a team of twenty.


  • Handling guest complaints, requests and enquiries in a relaxed yet professional manner.


  • Helping to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests and adhering to the company's health and safety policy and procedures.



 

What you need to get the job:


  • Previous experience of managing a large team


  • Budgetary/ costing experience


  • A good knowledge of customer care/complaint handling


  • 3 years restaurant/bar experience


  • Previous management experience within a high volume, fast paced restaurant and bar/cocktail bar
