Food & Beverage Manager - Up to £35,000 - Chard, Somerset - Hotel

Our client is a magnificent hotel based in the Chard area of Somerset.  The client is part of a Sunday Times Top 10 company and offers a great career opportunity to progress in one of the UK's best known hotel and leisure operators.  They are currently recruiting for a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee this high volume, restaurant operation. You will work 5 out of 7 days and run a large team of staff as this establishment can cater for over 400 plus guests. The restaurant mainly does buffet and carvery style service to cater for its large number of guests.

The Responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Manager:

•             Ensuring an exceptional standard of service is delivered to our guests at all times

•             Recruiting and training of staff

•             Lead, coach and motivate your team

•             Ensuring guest satisfaction through high quality service and good public relations

•             Responsible for the financial delivery of the Food & Beverage Department

•             To maintain a safe working environment and team culture


What you need to get the job of the Food & Beverage Manager:

•             Proven experience from a high volume catering background, ideally from a hotel, cruise ship or high volume restaurant

•             Ability and proven track record in managing a high cover operation

•             Proven track record as a strong team leader

•             A coach and a mentor

•             Ability to manage a diverse and large team

•             A personal license holder
