The role:

If you have strong customer service skills gained in a call centre environment, we have a fantastic opportunity for you working for one of Derbyshire's leading manufacturing companies. Your role will be taking calls from customers who can often be in quite distressing situations and need your help to deal with their call, efficiently and with empathy.


So important is your ability to deliver exceptional customer service that this employer offers unparalleled investment in your training, through a 5-week programme giving you the skills to work in their customer service department. The training which is both class-based and practical also includes buddying you up with an experienced member of staff who will help guide you in your new role.

Key information:

  • Temporary ongoing contract
  • You standard working week will be 42.75 hours between the hours of 0700 and 2100 Monday to Friday 0800 and 1500 on a Saturday and 0800 and 1200 on a Sunday.
  • You will be expected to work one full weekend in five, however you will be expected to work a single weekend day on other weeks.

Key responsibilities include:
  • To receive enquiries via telephone, Email or specific client portals
  • To deploy a suitable home repairs providers from the network of approved repairs companies, to each job within the required SLA
  • To ensure every caller receives excellent customer service whether customer or a supplier
  • To handle and try to resolve any complaint at the first point of notification

Skills required:
  • Strong Customer Service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Previous call centre experience (ideally minimum 6 months)
  • Ready to start within 2-3 weeks of application
  • You will have an initial interview with Blue Arrow followed by an interview on site
