Supervision of staff in the day-today operation of the unit to the agreed standards of service.
Delegating tasks to staff to cover the service.
Conducting checks/audits/monitoring service and taking remedial action as appropriate.
Provide and promote an excellent customer experience, receiving customer feedback and dealing with it appropriately in accordance with procedure.
Organizing staff rotas around the business need and within agreed budget levels.
Be responsible for the opening and closing down of the unit ensuring that appropriate procedures are followed to maintain security of the area.
Commit to continuous improvement by proactively seeking ways to improve the customer experience.
Ensure cash handling transactions are carried out efficiently and in a safe manner.
Assist in the achievement of budgeted targets on wages, food and bar stocks.
Using University systems for the ordering and receipting of stock and checking stock levels against business requirements.
Carry out stock takes in accordance with procedure.
27 Hours per week for 32 weeks per year.
