Supervisor - £9p/h - Contract Catering - Mon-Friday

 

Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK and they are currently recruiting for a Supervisor for their sites in Swanwick. This company offers excellent benefits and opportunities to progress. As Supervisor you will work Monday - Friday on a 40 hour contract with every night off!!

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Catering Supervisor will include:

  • ·         Assist in the management of catering areas including food retail and cafes
  • ·         Hands on working front of house to supervise the team and ensure customers are happy
  • ·         Assist in stock ordering within the set budget
  • Assist with training and developing the team           
  • ·         Drive sales and up-sell where possible
  • ·         Ensuring Health and Safety standards are upheld
  • ·         Opportunity to support in Event Management

 

What is required:

 

  • Previous experience working as Supervisor in cafes or food retail
  • Passionate about hospitality and keen to progress
  • A true people person who can engage with customers
  • A natural leader who can drive the team
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook
  • Good understanding of food and retail
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and be adaptable to change
