Shift Leader  - Café/Events Venue - Port Solent  - £17.5k - £18k

We are currently recruiting for an Events Shift Leader Venue with a Café in Port Solent area. They are seeking a Shift Leader to aid in the smooth running of the events operation as well as the café which will be open during the day. The venue will cater for a wide range of events including weddings, private parties and corporate events.  You will report into the Assistant Manager of the site and will work daytime hours except either Friday or Saturday night when there is a function.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the smooth running of the café and the events/functions
  • Run shifts in the café and supervise during events
  • Motivate and train staff to deliver correct standards
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints
  • Assist with admin tasks when required

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Shift Leader experience in hospitality and events
  • Good customer service and food service skills
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • A passion for the hospitality and events industry
  • Enthusiastic attitude and a can-do approach
