An award winning care home set within beautiful surroundings in Kent are looking to appoint a chef de partie to their brigade. Paying £9 per hour and working 37.5 hours a week (7am to 3pm or 12pm to 9pm)As assistant to the Sous Chef, the Chef de Partie will manage all catering functions within the Signature home, ensuring the delivery of standard operating procedures and high quality customer care.

Key Duties:
  • Work flexibly within contracted hours to ensure resources are used efficiently and, where chosen, sign an opt-out clause under Working Time Directives.
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to manage and deliver all catering services throughout the home, ensuring resident choice, dignity, confidentiality and safety are maintained.
  • Prepare nutritional food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef, promptly and in accordance with agreed mealtimes.
  • Prepare special diet meals as needed and as directed by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
  • Have an understanding of the Dementia Dining Experience requirements and prepare meals in accordance with it.
