Tesco Mobile are seeking confident, outgoing and motivated applicants for multiple Sales Representative opportunities in Bury (Greater Manchester).

Do you have the gift of the gab and a sales patter good enough to sell elbow grease, polka dot paint and left-handed hammers? If so, taking calls and upselling mobile network products to customers who have called you should be a breeze.

You will be working to achievable targets with the main objective being to provide the very best in customer service but also to find ways to up-sell products and services to existing customers using proactive questioning techniques to find out how you can provide the best service or product to the customer.

Your duties as a Sales Representative for Tesco Mobile will include:

· Taking calls for retentions, upgrades and sales relating to mobile phones.
· Utilise proactive questioning techniques to find out how you can provide the best service or product to the customer.
· Converting enquires into opportunities for sales leads.
· Researching information and processing orders via the in-house computer system.
· Providing customers with product and service information enthusiastically.
· Documenting all call information and completing call logs accurately and timely.
· Ensuring high level of customer care and attention to detail at all times.

You do not need any formal qualifications to work as a Sales Representative for Tesco Mobile, a strong background in customer service and sales will be advantageous but your natural people skills and enthusiasm for selling are much more important in a role like this.

Your place of work will be a Tesco Mobile call centre in the BL9 area of Bury which is less than two miles from the centre. Bury is supported by great transport links so getting to work is easy, a bus stop is positioned outside and the Radcliffe Metro station is just over a mile away. There is a free multi-storey car park for staff located just opposite the Bury site. The workplace benefits from an onsite subsidised canteen serving hot, cold and Halal food, communal breakout areas featuring pool tables, games consoles, TV's, and microwaves and open access prayer rooms.

Your shifts can fall anywhere between the hours of 8am and 9.15pm 5 days in 7 on a fixed basis and you must be able to work any shift between these times so take a moment to ensure this type of shift pattern works around your life and commitments before you apply.

The recruitment process starts with a criminality and financial probity check alongside an assessment day. You can attend an assessment day, Monday to Saturday throughout the first three weeks of October in preparation for an October start date. The assessment will consist of a call listening/handling exercise, data entry and aptitude tests.

As a Sales Representative for Tesco Mobile you will be supported with full classroom based training lasting 3 weeks, this training will usually take place Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.30pm. Following successful classroom training you will graduate into 3 weeks of handling calls with modest targets and full support before progressing into the role fully on a fixed shift basis.
