Job Location: Washington, Tyne & Wear.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

Handling inbound sales calls

Processing sales orders, web, inbound telephone calls, fax and email

Dealing with customer queries relating to both orders and products

Monitoring sales order book & ensuring all goods are despatched in a timely manner

Processing and monitoring trade counter sales

Processing quotations and proformas and convert where necessary, chase and void quotes on a regular basis

Dealing with microphone flag enquiries/orders

Keeping the UK Sales Manager fully aware of any potential issues with orders

Dealing with invoice queries and prepare credits where necessary

Identifying any potential sales opportunities/areas for growth & forwarding to relevant Internal Account Manager / Field Sales

Building relationships with customers and providing a high level of customer service; maintaining and increasing sales

Skills / Competencies:

Excellent communication skills

Computer literate and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Excellent attention to detail due to role involving data processing

Ability to work on own initiative

Ability to work as part of a team

Ability to prioritise workload

Willingness to learn new skills and continually develop self

Qualifications / Experience Required:

Good educational background including Maths & English

Previous experience in a busy sales office environment
