This is an exciting role to work for a successful client based in both Ireland and the UK as they expand the business in 2018.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in existing and new markets. As such, you are responsible for finding ways to exploit new markets and bring in revenue, and/or develop new revenue streams.
You will engage primarily in sales and marketing activities and should have a solid understanding of industry trends, to inform upon strategic planning and forecasting.
In order to be successful you must be able to prioritise the opportunities that are the most likely to generate a profit, liaise with high profile clients and manage expectations in line with budgets and income.
This role will suit someone with at least 5 years experience of Field Sales within the following industries; Transport, Public Sector, Post & Parcels or Manufacturing/Production.
