Role Overview:

Recruiting a talented Sous Chef for a modern Restaurant located in Woking to enhance their Brigade and support the Head Chef in providing excellent culinary services. This high standard Restaurant serves contemporary British cuisine and also offers gastro pub/Bistro style lunch and more informal fine dining in the evening using all seasonal fresh produce including breads and Pastry. Also offering BBQ's outside in the summer.

The establishment also boasts a small number of B&B rooms, offering continental breakfast and it also caters for various functions throughout the year such as weddings and exclusive hire up to 60 guests.

Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Sous Chef (Woking)
-         To prepare and present food to meet the required standard 
-         To deputise for the Head Chef
-         To assist the head chef with menu ideas
-         To ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy
-         To train the junior chefs

What You Need To Be a Successful Sous Chef (Woking)
-         Qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent or relevant kitchen experience
-         Previous experience in a gastro pub or fresh food kitchen
-         Willingness to learn and progress
-         Great communication skills and ability to work well within a team
-         A great leader who can take this operation forward
