Recruiting a passionate and talented Sous Chef for a well-established Garden Centre located on the outskirts of Farnham, Surrey to join their brigade.


The Restaurant has undergone a massive refurbishment and now boasts 250 seats, the head chef and his team offer a wonderful selection of freshly prepared food, from sumptuous baguettes, crisp salads, delicious homemade soups, mouth-watering chef's specials to roast of the day from our carvery and a superb selection of hot and cold desserts.


You will work alongside the Head Chef to run a smooth catering operation and deputise in the Head Chef's absence.


You will work 5 out of 7 days working straight shifts, daytime hours only, the Garden Centre shuts at 5/530pm.

The Role of the Sous Chef  in Farnham

  • Producing dishes to meet the required standard
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Develop and train the other chefs
  • Will deputise in the head chef's absence

The Requirements of the Sous Chef in Farnham

  • Experience within a similar environment
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent 
  • Passionate about food
