Role Overview:

Our client is a global player in the contract catering industry that supply catering and facility services to various sites throughout the UK. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef for their site on the outskirts of Woking, you will work within a team to deliver the required catering services to the client, including the day to day catering of the unit as well as special events, functions and dinners.

The successful candidate will work on a Mon - Fri - 40 hours - 1 in 3 weekends -Mixed shifts 6-2pm/7-3pm/8-4pm/11am-7pm.


Main Duties and Responsibilities as a Chef
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food in line with required standards
  • Ensuring the food is served in the right manner
  • Ensuring the quality and portion size of the food meets the correct standards
  • Stock control
  • To comply with relevant health and safety guidelines
  • Managing team in absence of Head Chef



What You Need To Be a Successful Chef
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications are required
  • Creativity and keen interest in food and cooking
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate will be advantageous
