Kitchen Manager - Food Production Site - Winchester - up to £28k + Bonus

Our Client is currently recruiting for a new position in a production kitchen in Winchester.

Producing award winning fresh cakes, daily home-made savoury items & pre-packaged retail food items for the 5 stores across Hampshire and Surrey.

The unit had a team that consists of 12 staff - chefs, drivers and retail staff.

We are looking for someone to head up the logistics and management of the team.

The role consists of -

  • Managing rotas & labour costs

  • Costing of all of our dishes on Fourth Enterprise and FnB Shop

  • Liaising with suppliers and working in tandem with our chefs to highlight seasonality & cost of ingredients

  • Invoice and basic book keeping management with our Financial Controller

  • Setting up and managing an efficient daily ordering system

  • Managing & monitoring all HACCP and Allergen documentation across the group

  • Ensuring the dish specifications are being adhered to in all stores

  • Doing all of this with a confident, positive, 'can do' attitude!

    The Client would expect you to work in close collaboration with the chefs as they develop new dishes and act in a support role ensuring dishes are smoothly introduced into stores, with all supporting documentation and specifications.

    The successful applicant will have had extensive experience in a similar role, and be very knowledgeable about Fourth Hospitality systems.

    A knowledge of Point One till systems would also be advantageous.
