Head Chef - 4*Hotel - Isle of Wight - £38K-£40k - live in available

The role:

Our client is a fabulous hotel situated in the Harbour of Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. They are looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef to lead a brigade. The restaurant has 2 AA rosettes and the hotel itself has 3 Red Stars. The hotel hosts weddings, banquets and corporate events so the successful chef needs to be able versatile and enjoy a challenge.

As Head chef you will work 5/7 days based on straight shifts.

Your main responsibilities as Head Chef (Yarmouth) will include:

  • Overall management of the kitchen
  • Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
  • Develop and train the junior members of the team

What you need to get the job Head Chef (Yarmouth):

  • Experience at Sous or Head Chef Level, at least 1 Rosette standard
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent
  • Passionate about food
  • Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
