This is a vital role, as you'll be the voice of our company. You'll take calls from customers with lots of different questions and needs, so you need to be a quick thinker with a cool head. If you're confident, articulate and good on the phone, you'll be a great fit.

You'll be receiving calls from new and existing customers, to renew their products and let them know about the offers that may benefit them. You'll encourage them to stay with us by finding out which products suit them best, and the benefits of being with us such as SSE rewards. You'll be a genuine ambassador for us, leaving the customer with a positive experience regardless of the sales outcome.

We're interested in people who can show great customer awareness, being able to adapt their approach to suit our customers' individual needs. You'll show great attention to detail, be comfortable using IT systems and have first class listening skills.

You won't need previous sales experience as full training will be provided. There's also opportunity to progress your career through our Sales Academy, as well as the chance to gain additional qualifications such as NVQs.
If you are successful, before joining us we'll require you to complete a pre-employment check, including a basic criminal record check. And please bear in mind that we can't give you any time off during your three-week training period.
