We are currently looking for a skilled Joiner/Cabinet Maker to join our innovative team in Leicester.

About you

The successful candidate will be ambitious with a flexible approach. You will be confident working with a variety of materials including Timber, Sheet Material, Laminates, CNC'd and Sprayed Panels.
You must have experience working in a similar, bench/workshop based role
You will be experienced in using a variety of machinery and tools including circular saws, edge banders, routers and hand tools to create Display Units, Counters, Retail Interiors and much more for our growing client base.

Responsibilities

Working as part of a small, friendly team you will be responsible for creating bespoke products for our customers.

Reporting to the Project Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Working alone or as part of a team

  • Working to technical drawings

  • An efficient and clean finish

  • Quality Control regarding your own work

  • Liaising with other departments


Skills & Qualities

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a bench/workshop based Joiner/Cabinet Maker role

  • Experience of working with Hand Tools, Circular Saws, Routers and Edge banders

  • Flexible, reliable and positive attitude.

  • Experience working with a variety of materials including Timber, MDF, Laminates and Spray Panels.

  • NVQ Level 2 in Bench Joinery or similar

  • A keen eye for detail

  • CNC experience

  • Self-motivated with ambition to grow with the business

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise

  • Flexibility and the ability to work well within a team and within a fast paced environment

Package

  • £10.50 - £11.50 per hour, depending on experience

  • Working Hours 39 per week: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday + Friday: 08:00 - 13:00. Overtime often available (paid at time and a half).

  • 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
