Housekeeping Supervisor - £8-£8.25p/h -Leisure-Portsmouth

A Housekeeping Supervisor is required for a high volume holiday leisure business based just outside of Portsmouth. They cater for families and groups and provide accommodation, meals and a range of entertainment in the form of facilities and organised activities. The successful applicant will work 40 hours per week, working between Monday and Saturday. This is a full-time permanent position.

Your main responsibilities as a Housekeeping Supervisor will include:
  • Hands on supervision of a busy housekeeping department
  • The coordination/supervision of a team of cleaners to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the housekeeping department
  • Communicating with the maintenance department to ensure maintenance is reported on a daily basis
  • Assisting with rotas, linen & cleaning supplies requirements
  • Assist in training the team through communication and guidance on standards and training
What you need to be successful in getting the Housekeeping Supervisor role:
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a high volume hospitality business
  • Experience managing a large team
  • Works well under pressure
  • Customer focused
  • Calm and methodical character but of strong character
  • Attention to detail and high standards
  • Knowledge of basic IT systems
