Assistant Manager-Poole-£20K-£22k + £2k/£3k tips

Our client is a relaxed bar and restaurant serving classic as well as oriental and tropical dishes. It is located in a lovely area of Poole. It is part of a successful independent group, so there is excellent opportunities for career progression within the group. They are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Manager with passion and enthusiasm for the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will work 5 out of 7 days per week to include some weekends but with either the Friday or Saturday off. The hours are based on a 48 hour week, working a mixture of shifts to include early, mid and late shifts.



Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the General Manager with the management of the restaurant/bar
  • Assisting in some back office tasks including stock management
  • Run shifts and be customer focused at all times
  • Assist with recruiting, developing and training the team
  • Help with ideas to drive the business forward
  • Deal with customer queries and complaints


Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience at Assistant Manager or Supervisor level
  • Ideally from a restaurant background
  • Excellent stock management skills
  • Basic back office understanding but training will be provided
  • Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills


The Reward:
