Events Manager - Poole - £25k

A prestigious award-winning events venue located in Poole are currently recruiting for an Events Manager to oversee the smooth running of weddings and corporate events catering for up to 200 guests. The successful candidate will have experience running events and will work straight shifts, 5/7 days, with some evenings off and some Sundays off too so a good work/life balance!


Events Manager Responsibilities:
  • Hands on management of weddings and other events
  • Ensure event sheets are followed and checklists completed
  • Stock rotation and ordering
  • Ensure all events are successful and run to schedule
  • Manage, train and motivate the team
  • Handle customer queries and complaints
Events Manager Requirements:
  • Experience at Restaurant Supervisor or Restaurant Manager level
  • Experience running weddings and events in a quality hotel or events venue
  • Able to motivate and manage a large team
  • Need correct insurance documents to drive company vans
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Have a friendly and enthusiastic attitude
  • A passion for the hospitality industry
