Cafe and Bar Manager - Near Weymouth - £18k-£20k

An exciting opportunity has arisen at a high end Café and Bar in the Weymouth area. They are looking for a Manager to run the Café and drive the business forward. They offer a selection of paninis, baguettes and salads and are looking for someone to assist in food preparation and work out front to deliver excellent customer service. They are looking for someone who is experienced at least to Supervisor level in a Café, Bar or Restaurant environment. The successful candidate will work 5/7 days a week to include weekends and evenings but only during the peak season.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Hands on management of the Cafe
  • Develop and train the team
  • Deal with stock management of food and beverages, to include waste management
  • Help with ideas to drive the business forward
  • Marketing including use of social media
  • Ensure profitability of the cafe and working to set budgets
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience at Supervisor level in a quality food led operation
  • Understanding of stock management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • An understanding of food and efficient service
  • Sound financial and commercial acumen
  • Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
