Area Cleaning Supervisor - Southampton/Portsmouth - £20,900

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an Area Cleaning Supervisor to control and co-ordinate cleaning operations for multi-location contracts in the Southampton and Portsmouth areas. The company is a successful contract cleaning business so the opportunities for progression are high. This is a new role which has been created due to growth of the business. The successful candidate will supervise the staff, control finances and Health and Safety for all units and will have a proven track record in site cleaning operations. They are looking for someone with experience, great organisational skills and an ability to supervise multiple sites.

Your main responsibilities as an Area Cleaning Supervisor will include:
  • Organise and supervise cleaners to deliver efficient service
  • Understand and deliver client brand standards
  • Analyse and manage effectively all unit costs
  • Supervise, develop and motivate the team
  • Communicate and build relationships with customers
  • Contribute to the delivery of the regional financial business plan
  • Ensure compliance to Health and Safety regulations
What you need to be successful in getting the Area Cleaning Supervisor Job:
  • Proven ability to motivate and manage people
  • Able to drive with a full UK driving licence
  • Operational understanding - within cleaning would be ideal
  • Good communication skills
  • Organisation skills
  • Ability to build relationships with clients and staff
  • Understanding of HSE Demonstrated self-starting and self-motivating qualities
