Banking Administrator

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Banking Administrator to join a leading Financial Services provider, based in Glasgow City Centre. The role is a 14 week contract with the opportunity for it to become ongoing and potentially permanent for the right candidate.

Your duties and responsibilities will be varied and will include:
  • Carrying out a range of demanding clerical and customer service duties
  • Ensuring that work is completely accurate and adheres to all specified Bank processes, procedures, standards and relevant external regulations
  • Act as a source of expertise to junior team members providing coaching as support
  • When required prepare a range of returns and reports as appropriate.
  • Identify and suggest improvements to procedures
  • An ability to respond to a range of demanding enquiries, inclusive of clarifying customers understanding of particular information
  • Contribute to the appraisal process, collecting and keeping appropriate data
  • Working hours are between 9AM-5PM Monday to Friday

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Previous banking administration experience in preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Able to follow set guidelines, timescales and SLA's
