Our client based in Shrivenham are in need of a long-term, responsible, Warehouse operative with a good degree of I.T knowledge.

Due to the nature of the role, Security Clearance/Background checks would be undertaken.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  1. Minimum of two years warehouse experience
  2. Good knowledge of IT an advantage.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage Accounts preferable
  4. Flexible approach to daily work

Responsibilities Include:

  1. All aspects of product movement and storage.
  2. To promote the Company in an effective and professional manner
  3. To maintain confidentiality of all company documentation within its possession and safeguard all security passwords and codes.


  1. Co-ordinate freight and packaging requirements
  2. Handle daily order packing requirements
  3. Picking and packing of products to agreed levels of accuracy and to ensure adequate levels of product security in transit
  4. Control and manage product returns
  5. Obtain quotations for special delivery requirements or couriered dispatches
  6. Arrange product collections as required
  7. Despatch all consignments using appropriate systems to ensure timely and safe delivery
  8. Source packaging materials
  9. Maintain adequate in house stocks of materials to meet current demands and advise customer services when packaging materials are required.
  10. Seek more competitive products sources by price and or quality
  11. Maintain adequate stocks of dispatch stationery i.e. dispatch notes, consignment notes etc.
  12. Participate in stock take annually or when required
  13. Maintain a professional and business-like attitude
  14. Observe fire and health and safety regulations and in particular take reasonable care for your own safety and that of others and thereby maintaining a safe working environment
  15. Identify risks and notify the Operations Manager so that they can assess the risk, implement any remedial action.
  16. Locate archive material as required
  17. Undertake all other reasonable work requests made by the Operations Manager or Office Manager.

This is a 12 week temp to perm opportunity, with an immediate start available for the right candidate, subject to an interview with the Warehouse and Office Manager.
