We are working with a distinguished national client, helping them to find an Assistant Catering Manager for their busy location in Hereford. This role would be ideal for a Head Chef looking to step into a more senior role, or someone with managerial experience who is looking for a new challenge.

They are a company who place a huge emphasis on freshly prepared food so experience with quality produce is essential.

The location is a multi-unit site, so you may be supervising up to 3 kitchens on an average day. The majority of their business comes from events and hospitality - so if you have experience providing food and drink for up to 200 people this will be a definite advantage.

Main duties:
>Responsible for all food produced in the Main Hospitality Kitchen
>Managing staff across 3 kitchens if Catering Manager is not on site
>Checking inventory and ordering stock if Catering Manager is not on site
>Implementing training and refresher sessions for catering staff inc. Food Hygiene, First Aid etc.

Additional duties:
>Serving customers their food over main counter
>Managing coffee machine and till in cafe
>Providing bar and table waiting service for larger events

Re-numeration:
Starting salary 23.5k per annum (can be increased with relevant experience)
Overtime and time in lieu available
