We're recruiting for a hands-on, people-focused Production Team Leader to join a busy manufacturing environment in Ripley. This role starts on a temporary basis with a strong opportunity to secure a permanent position.<hr /><h3>What you'll be doing:</h3><ul><li>Leading, supporting and motivating a production team of around 35 colleagues.</li><li>Working side-by-side with the Department Manager to deliver on daily priorities including output, quality, staffing/skills, and safety.</li><li>Completing risk assessments and ensuring full compliance across Health &amp; Safety, hygiene, housekeeping and company standards.</li><li>Planning and organising manpower and materials to ensure production goals are consistently achieved.</li><li>Tracking, monitoring and reporting on production and business performance.</li><li>Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement, promoting new ideas and best practice.</li><li>Assisting with routine stock takes.</li><li>Stepping in for the Department Manager when required.</li></ul><hr /><h3>What we're looking for:</h3><ul><li>A confident communicator who can work effectively with colleagues at all levels.</li><li>Someone decisive, driven and committed to achieving results.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>A positive, motivated individual who thrives under pressure.</li><li>Excellent organisational skills.</li><li>Basic IT skills, especially Word and Excel.</li><li>Previous experience in a Team Leader or similar supervisory role.</li></ul><hr /><h3>Benefits when you go permanent:</h3><ul><li>33 days holiday plus additional service days after 5 years.</li><li>Company Sick Pay Scheme and Employee Assistance Programme.</li><li>Private Company Pension Scheme.</li><li>Generous staff discount and Christmas vouchers to spend in company stores.</li></ul> Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
