Rate of Pay: Days: £15.08phHours of work: Days: Monday to Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Fridays 6am-12 noon (40 hour paid week)Contract: Temp to perm Our client based in Port Talbot is an Engineering and Fabrication business, with more than 50 years' experience in the industry. They are looking for skilled Welder Fabricators to work within the process of fabricating steel objects. Duties:-<ul><li>Perform high-quality MIG Welding and fabrication on industrial steel doors</li><li>Fabricate components by following instruction, technical drawings and specifications</li><li>Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently</li><li>Inspect/ quality check completed work to ensure it meets quality standards</li><li>Maintain a clean and organised working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times</li></ul>Candidate requirements:-<ul><li>Experience in Welding &amp; Fabricating in a workshop environment</li><li>Successful applicants must have experience in MIG Welding of mild steel up to 16mm thickness</li><li>An apprenticeship is desirable, as are recent codings &amp; qualifications.</li><li>Fabrication experience is required, must be able to read engineering drawings</li><li>Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools</li><li>Able to work as part of a team</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy is essential</li><li>Must hold a UK driving license</li></ul> If you feel you have the right experience for the above role, please submit your CV for immediate response.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
