About the Role:We are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Cleaning Supervisor for my client based in DarlingtonThis role will suit a proactive individual with strong leadership skills and experience managing teams in an operational environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring standards are consistently met while maintaining a safe and well‑organised working environment. Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Lead and coordinate night‑time operational staff to ensure all scheduled tasks are completed efficiently</li><li>Monitor work activity across the site, carrying out spot checks to maintain agreed service standards</li><li>Support, coach, and guide team members to ensure best practices are followed</li><li>Organise staffing levels, workloads, and use of equipment throughout the shift</li><li>Escalate any incidents, defects, or operational concerns through the appropriate channels</li><li>Complete basic administrative duties, including attendance tracking and shift reporting</li></ul> Person Specification:<ul><li>Previous experience supervising teams in an operational, facilities, or service‑based environment</li><li>Confident leader with the ability to manage people and resolve issues effectively</li><li>Able to work independently and make informed decisions during night hours</li></ul> Rate:<ul><li>£13.96ph</li></ul> Shifts:<ul><li>7pm-7am</li><li>Continental shift pattern consisting of 4 on / 4 off</li><li>The shift pattern will include regular weekend</li><li>Full time only </li></ul>Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
