We are currently seeking a Chef to join our team at a contract catering site located in central Winchester. This role offers a fantastic work-life balance, working term-time only, and the opportunity to work in a friendly, supportive environment.

Key Information

• Salary: £14.74 per hour + paid overtime
• Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 out of 7 days, alternate weekends
• Contract: Permanent, Term-Time Only (TTO)
• Paid Weeks: 38.6 weeks per year
• Worked Weeks: 34 weeks per year
• Location: Central Winchester (free parking available)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly and efficient catering service
• Prepare, cook, and present food to agreed standards
• Assist with food preparation and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of produce and ingredients
• Experience across various kitchen environments and cuisines
• Knowledge of food production methods
• Positive, approachable attitude and willingness to embrace new ideas

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef in a similar setting
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards
• Excellent hygiene practices
