We are looking for experienced chefs ready for a Chef de Partie (CDP) role as well as skilled junior chefs seeking a Commis Chef position with career growth.We will be interviewing and trialling candidates to determine the most suitable role based on experience, skills, and ambition. Whether you're an experienced CDP looking for stability or a Commis Chef eager to develop into a CDP role, this is a fantastic opportunity in a structured, professional kitchen with no evening work.<h3>Key Details</h3><ul><li>Pay Rate: £12.45/hour (Commis) - £13.74/hour (CDP)</li><li>Shifts:<ul><li>CDP: Monday-Friday - 4 days x 10 hours or 5 days x 8 hours (early mornings &amp; afternoons)</li><li>Commis: Sunday-Thursday, 8-hour shifts (flexible start times: 6am, 7am, or 8am)</li></ul></li><li>Employment Type: Temp-to-perm through Blue Arrow</li><li>Start Date: ASAP</li></ul><h3>The Company</h3>This renowned private college is known for its exceptional dining standards, providing fresh, high-quality meals for students and staff. The kitchen is led by an experienced team that nurtures talent, ensuring all chefs are trained to the highest level.<h3>What is the role?</h3>After interviewing and trialling, you will be placed in the most suitable position based on your current skills and progression goals:✔ Chef de Partie (CDP) Role: Requires previous kitchen experience, high attention to detail, and the ability to lead a section independently. You'll be expected to deliver consistently high standards in food preparation, presentation, and service.✔ Commis Chef Role: Ideal for a chef with solid kitchen skills who can already cook and present food but wants structured training and career growth.
