We are looking to recruit an experienced generator engineer for a well-established client in the village of Measham, just outside of Swadlincote. Hours: 07:00 to 16:30, 45 hours per week. Pay Rate: £17.45 P/H This position is primarily on-site, with travel to client locations for maintenance and collaborating closely with the operations team.Your daily responsibilities will include: * Routine maintenance of generators * Performing necessary repairs and proactively inspecting for potential risks or damages * Traveling to client sites for urgent repair needs * Coordinating with the operations team to order parts and equipment * Conducting final safety inspections of generators prior to delivery * Assisting the operations team with additional repair, maintenance, and cleaning tasks to ensure timely delivery schedules are met. What we're looking for: * Reside locally to facilitate easy access to the depot and its clients * Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing commercial diesel generators * Familiarity with regular generator maintenance protocols * Capability to install plumbing and electrical components * Willingness to assist the operations team with fabrication and cleaning tasks during downtime. * Experience with brands such as Stephill, Genquip, or AJC would be beneficial * Previous welding skills would be beneficial APPLY NOWBlue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
