Blue Arrow are looking to recruit temporary relief warehouse operatives in the Inverness and Highlands areas. You would be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods and products in our warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure that orders are shipped to customers on time and without damage, maintaining the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and store incoming stock. Ensure all products are correctly labeled and stored. Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and packaged. Inventory Management: Perform regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records. Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor. Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Maintain equipment in good working condition. Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues. Requirements: Proven experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Familiarity with inventory software and modern warehousing practices. Good organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Forklift license (preferred but not essential). High school diploma or equivalent.
