We are recruiting receptionists ideally "Opera" trained for our Boutique Hotel Client in Exeter. You must have a natural hospitality charm and a passion for service. You will strive to make our guests experience with the Hotel the best it can be whilst dealing with queries of all shapes and sizes. As Receptionist you are the first and last person our guests see, you set the tone for the visit and you can ensure that everything has gone above and beyond before they leave. Job Role: Receptionist (Hotel) Hourly Rate: £11.95 plus bonuses Location: Exeter EX2 Hours: either 07.00-15.00 or 15.00 - 23.00 on a rota basis Days of Work: 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis Hotel Receptionists undertake a range of activities in a typical working day, and their duties include: Welcoming guests and checking their details against their bookings Allocating guests their rooms and providing keys Answering phones from prospective customers and guests, taking messages and delivering them Completing administrative tasks such as filing and photocopying Responding to requests for help and information Providing concierge services, such as booking theatre tickets. arranging travel and providing information about local amenities and attractions Preparing room bills and ensuring prompt payments Checking guests out, taking payments and returning deposits As Receptionists, you will greet guests as they arrive at a hotel. You check guests in and out and give them their room keys. You take bookings (by telephone or email), prepare bills and take payments. You often confirm bookings in writing, using a computer to prepare letters or send emails. Experience &amp; Skills Required for this role: Ideally "Opera" trained but not essential Fluent Written &amp; Spoken English Good time management. Attention to detail.
