Blue Arrow is proud to be working in partnership with a leading global manufacturing company. Due to expansion they're looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team on a full-time permanent basis based at their Head Office in Alderley Edge, Macclesfield.

About the HR Business Partner Role
Our client brings together two of the world's leading specialty materials companies to create one new, innovation-driven leader focused on battery technologies, filtration media, and specialty insulation and sealing materials. Through global reach and breakthrough inventions, they are delivering products that enable the world to breathe easier, live greener, and go further than ever before.

They are now seeking a talented HR Business Partner to join the team and play a pivotal role in supporting and aligning HR initiatives with the strategic goals of the organization. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across the globe that represent various business functions. The business functions include the following groups: Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Sales & Service, R&D, Operations Management, and Legal.

Hours: Mon-Fri (37.5 hours per week) - flexibility on hours

Hybrid working is an option for this role, but you would still need to be able to attend the office 3 days a week (days flexible). Therefore, candidates will ideally live locally or within a reasonable commute.

Salary: up to £68,000 (depending on experience) + annual bonus

What duties will be included in the HR Business Partner role?

Strategic HR Partnership:

  • Collaborate with corporate functions leaders to understand their business objectives and provide strategic HR guidance.
  • Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to identify trends, measure HR program effectiveness, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Drive initiatives related to organizational effectiveness, change management, and employee engagement within corporate functions.

Talent & Performance Management:

  • Partner with leaders to identify and address talent needs, including talent acquisition, development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with the Centre of Excellence (COE) to attract, develop, and retain top talent within corporate functions.
  • Support the performance & talent management processes, working closely with the COE and managers to set performance expectations, provide coaching, and address performance issues.
  • Assist with the implementation of performance improvement plans, as needed. Provide guidance and coaching to leaders throughout the process.
  • Lead a HR Generalist by managing workload and projects, providing regular coaching, and conducting regular performance and development conversations.

Employee Relations & HR Compliance:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, offering guidance on employee relations matters.
  • Conduct investigations and provide resolutions for employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations; regularly review and update policies to reflect best practices and legal requirements.

What will you bring to the HR Business Partner role?

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
  • 2-3 years of progressive HRBP experience with a focus on business partnership.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices; global experience required.
  • 1-2 years of leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR solutions.
  • Proven ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully managing complex employee relations issues.
  • Valid CIPD Certification, Level 5.

Where is the HR Business Partner role based?
This is a hybrid working role between home and the Alderley Edge, Head Office in Macclesfield - there is a requirement to work in the office 3 days a week (flexibility on days and times) therefore the successful candidate will need to ideally live locally to here or within a reasonable commute.
