As an Business Support Officer you will have:
* A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Flexibility and ability to prioritise tasks and workload to meet deadlines
* A confident, professional phone manner and ability to answer calls with ease

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As an Business Support Officer, tasks will usually include:
1.Undertaking a range of administrative tasks to include monitoring of generic mailboxes, mail merge, processing applications for Taxicard, Housing parking permits, market / charity stall and street collection application licences.

2.Provide the initial contact for customer enquiries received into Business Support via email, phone and job tickets through the portal, ensuring customers' requests/complaints are clearly understood and actioned. Making sure details received are logged, allocated and resolved on the workflow management system, to be completed within corporate standards, service response times and deadlines.

3.Working with services to address the demand for planned and adhoc operational support requests including support for projects, adapting to new processes, liaising with teams, creating procedure notes and delivering on time.

4.Create, maintain, input and update records, spreadsheets and databases ensuring high degree of accuracy, providing statistical information, and extracting data for management reports in various formats.

  1. Use the Financial Management System to raise and receipt purchase orders for the

supply of goods and services, checking and coding invoices for payment, making procurement card purchases ensuring monthly reconciliation is completed within the required timescale.

6.Organise meetings, send out agendas, take minutes, book venues, equipment etc as required.
