Learning &amp; Development Administrator 36.25hrs per week£16.68 p/h CookstownMAIN PURPOSEAs an integral member of the Learning and Development team, provide a professional and customer focused administrative and front of house service to the L&amp;D Centre, to support corporate objectives and those of the Service Support Directorate.Provide support and advice to NIFRS personnel regarding operational learning and development (L&amp;D) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of training and associated events. Provide a Helpdesk facility for users and administrators of the Learning Management System. System maintenance, development, training and user access. Contract monitoring and supplier liaison to support budget and finance managementSummary of Responsibilities:<ol><li>To work with the HR Advisor, Learning &amp; Development Business Support towards the effective and efficient delivery and implementation of all Learning &amp; Development (L&amp;D) interventions, to support NIFRS' organisational need.</li></ol><ol start="2"><li>To work in partnership with the L&amp;D Team, Departmental Heads, Subject Matter Experts (SME), Course Directors, Faculty Instructors and other relevant staff to design, create and produce professional L&amp;D course materials and relevant supporting documentation.</li></ol>Learning &amp; Development<ol start="3"><li>To provide guidance, support &amp; training for L&amp;D activities and the application of L&amp;D Policies and Procedures</li></ol><ol start="4"><li>To work with subject matter experts in reviewing training materials and to support the development of new materials in line with National Operational Guidance/ National Occupational Standards and other legislative requirements. Finding innovative ways to translate these ideas into the LMS system.</li></ol><ol start="5"><li>To act as a first point of contact for all internal and external enquiries relating to operational Learning &amp; Development support and ensure necessary communication is maintained with the Area Commander, Senior Managers and other professionals.</li></ol><ol start="6"><li>To provide support and guidance to the L&amp;D function in the development of digital learning content and effective use of learning technologies such as blended learning, eLearning E-portfolios, video publications and other training material.</li></ol>To be instrumental in the creation, collation and production of web-based and online training materials, using complex software Criteria<ul><li>Possess a HNC-level qualification in a relevant subject (e.g. business administration, IT, Multimedia)</li></ul>AND<ul><li>Have at least two years' experience of working in a Learning &amp; Development/Administrative role.</li></ul>OR<ul><li>Possess 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) to include English and Maths;</li></ul>AND<ul><li>Have at least five years' experience of working in a Learning &amp; Development/Administrative role.</li></ul><ul><li>Be able to demonstrate:</li></ul><ol><li>Excellent planning and organisational skills;</li><li>Ability to produce accurate work;</li><li>Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) and the ability to advise senior management;</li><li>A strong customer orientation.</li></ol> Have experience in interpreting data and producing reports on learning management informationPossess a full, current UK driving licence Category B which enables the post holder to fulfil the full requirements of the roleThe closing date for this post is Wednesday 3rd June @12 noonTo apply send cv via link
