Electrical Engineering Manager salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience) Electrical Engineering Manager hours: Week 1 between 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week) Week 2 Tuesday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm Saturday 6am - 2.30pm Electrical Engineering Manager company benefits: <ul><li>Car Parking</li><li>Employee benefit schemes</li><li>Competitive pension scheme</li><li>25 days holiday + Bank Holidays</li></ul> Electrical Engineering Manager Roles and responsibilities: Actively Learn all aspect of maintenance department <ul><li>Participate in, on the job training</li><li>Attend all H&amp;S and business-related course &amp; briefings</li></ul>Preventative Maintenance System <ul><li>Update and maintain the schedule</li><li>Conduct walk rounds and visual inspection</li><li>Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance of all equipment</li></ul>Breakdown and Repairs <ul><li>Mechanical</li><li>Electrical where permitted (legally)</li><li>Plumbing</li><li>To be part of the 'call out' team</li></ul>New systems installation <ul><li>Electrical installations, cable routing etc - non-electrician work</li><li>Mechanical installations</li><li>Pipe work around factory</li><li>Paperwork checks</li><li>Logistics</li></ul>Control of cost center and ordering <ul><li>Raising and checking purchase orders - to be handed to Maintenance Manager</li><li>Obtaining quotes for work required</li><li>Time sheets work and liaising with 3 rd party contractors</li><li>Purchasing consumables</li></ul>Administration <ul><li>Help in the preparation and implementing/ training out of, Risk Assessments (RA) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)</li><li>Preparing Method Statements for tasks and jobs to be done</li><li>Training of other Maintenance team members &amp; operational staff</li><li>Control of contractors and their paper work</li></ul>Utility Supervision <ul><li>Participate in the energy management system</li><li>Check sampling equipment</li><li>Cold rooms running to correct temperatures &amp; settings</li><li>Actively monitor and challenge water usage &amp; wastage</li></ul> Electrical Engineering Manager Qualifications / Experience Required: <ul><li>Existing mechanical engineering qualification</li><li>18th edition electrical qualification - required</li><li>Effective Communication Skills between all levels within the business</li><li>Time Management - ability to work to set deadlines</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team and also confident / competent to work on own</li><li>Microsoft Office Skills (Excel &amp; Word proficient), Outlook Express (Task and Diary management),</li><li>Working knowledge of electrics</li><li>Understanding of the 'Permit to work' system</li><li>Driving Licence (clean/current)</li><li>CCTV Knowledge</li><li>IOSH Managing Safely</li><li>Welding and fabrication</li><li>Carpentry &amp; Plumbing</li><li>Refrigeration knowledge</li><li>Knowledge of PLC units</li><li>Understanding of Bulgarian Language</li><li>Previously worked in a Food manufacturing environment</li><li>Knowledge of food safety (Basic Hygiene)</li><li>An understanding of health and safety requirements and implementation in the workplace.</li><li>Training towards or achieved CIEH Level 3 Awards in Food Safety</li><li>Ability to issue permits under the permit to work system</li></ul> If this sounds of interest, please do feel free to apply through the link below, or alternatively please do get in touch on 01253 751511 and I will be happy to discuss further!
