We are currently sourcing a candidate to work in the Licencing Department of the Local Authority based in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have good time management, ability to multi task. You will be using Excel to assess data, and be able to communicate clearly with a wide range of colleagues, partners and customers. This will be a varied role and will require good problem solving abilities. The post holder will be privy to sensitive material so must be mindful of confidentiality and information security.


Job Title: Administrator (Licencing Department)

Location: Temple Street, Bristol

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 09.00 - 17.30 (16.30 on a Friday)

Hourly Pay Rate: £11.41

Start Date: 16th September 2019

Duration: 12 Months


This is a role provides processing administration work relating to parking permits, blue badges, and disabled bays.


Key tasks will include:

  • Basic Administration skills

  • Fact finding for applications

  • Acting as a point of contact for the public and partner agencies

  • Prompt distribution of confidential papers

  • Maintaining accurate data and producing regular statistical updates


Skills Required for this role

  • 1 Year Minimum Administration Experience

  • Proven Customer Service Track Record

  • Workplace Experience in Excel, Word and Outlook
