Blue Arrow Glasgow are looking for an Insurance Advisor to join our prestigious client to assist with the management, placement and ongoing administration of Insurance coverages.

Your main role will be to support the development of insurance placements within the business and ensure adherence to insurance procedures.
In addition to this, you will assist in the Insurance annual renewal and budgeting process, working closely with finance and other stakeholders.

Your Skills & Experience

You should be able to demonstrate experience in administering the insurance requirements of large corporate or risk managed concerns gained from working in either an insurance broking or an insurance company environment. 
Your will need to have a broad understanding of the range of commercial insurance coverages available in the insurance market - particularly property, casualty and financial lines.  An understanding of statutory engineering inspection requirements would also be beneficial.

Dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders with be a large part of your role, as such you must be reliable and honest with strong negotiating skills.  

It is a preference that you are degree qualified, hold an ACII or an IRM qualification,or have extensive experience in a similar role.  The role will involve an element of travel with the UK and Ireland and as such a driver's licence is essential.
